Sniper 3D offers a full arsenal of varied weaponry, which is divided into five different categories:
- Sniper Rifles
- Assault Rifles
- Shotguns
- Pistols
- Special
These categories denote the type of the weapon, along with which kind of mission it can be used in. You can find more details about each specific categories below:
Sniper Rifles
Sniper rifles are specialized in long range combat, due to their superior stability and zoom. Don't let the enemy get too close though, as sniper rifles have a relatively short magazine size, and a considerable reload time. Sniper rifles be used in primary missions, repetition missions, spec ops, world ops, and the pvp arena.
Assault Rifles
Assault rifles are ideal for medium range combat. They are able to deliver a high volume of fire while still maintaining a reasonable accuracy and zoom capability. They are used in repetition missions and world ops.
Shotguns
Shotguns are tailored towards close range combat. Every shot fires multiple bullets, which can be extremely useful in missions with a high quantity of enemies. However, this comes with the trade off of having a low magazine size, low accuracy and a considerable reload time. Shotguns are used in repetition missions and world ops.
Pistols
Pistols are the jack of all trades of Sniper 3D. They don't exceed in any specific category, yet offer offer very little downsides. Pistols are used in repetition missions and world ops.
Special
All special weapons have another weapon category assigned to them (Sniper Rifle, Assault Rifle, Shotgun or Pistol). This secondary category is what will determine what kind of mission they can be used in. As an example, the MSR rifle is a special weapon, but its secondary category is a sniper rifle. Because of this it can be used in the pvp arena.
UPGRADES
Every weapon in Sniper3D consists of 7 individual modules:
- Muzzle
- Ammo
- Body
- Grip
- Scope
- Magazine
Each module can be upgraded in order to improve the weapon's overall stats. Upgrades will cost either coins or battle tokens, depending on the upgrade level.
As well as upgrading each specific module, you can also purchase Silencers for each of your sniper rifles.
These will muffle your shots while playing single player missions, helping conceal your activity from your targets and ensuring you won't get spotted. Do be aware, however, that these silencers do not have any effect in PvP.
